Molly was born and raised in Palo Alto, CA spending most of her childhood on the soccer field. She took a leap from California to the midwest for undergrad studying Social Entrepreneurship at Miami University of Ohio. She has been back in San Francisco for the past 5 years starting her career at Google and now leaping partnerships at Twitter. When not caught up in the typical tech-bubble, Molly can be found sipping on a glass of cabernet making a mean bowl of guacamole. She describes running as her meditation - keeping it casual but routine. Eager to continue investing her time in impact-work, Molly is thrilled to be a part of Back on My Feet and help launch the SF team!
Consultant, Slalom Consulting
Sam is currently a Management Consultant at Slalom Consulting. She moved to the Bay from D.C. where she did Federal Consulting with Accenture for 3 years. Besides running, Sam loves hiking, yoga, spending as much time outdoors as possible, and finding the best pizza in the city. She first heard about Back on My Feet through her experience with a similar organization (Mile in My Shoes) based in Minneapolis. Through early morning runs and team races Sam was inspired to get involved with BoMF in SF.
Research Associate (Private Equity and Venture Capital), Hall Capital Partners
Daniel was born in Northampton, MA, ran cross country and track for Northeastern University, and spent the last three years leading the November Project in San Francisco, meaning he’s well acquainted with early morning workouts of all kinds. He currently works for Hall Capital Partners conducting investment research on private equity and venture capital funds and reached power-nerd status upon completion of the CFA program last June. Hobbies include running, not running, cycling, settling Catan, burritos (are burritos a hobby?), and camping.
Well-Being Specialist, Google
MJ moved to SF in 2013 to start a job at Google. Since then she's worked on several teams in HR, and currently focuses on well-being programs. Life before SF included boxing at Notre Dame (Go Irish!), living in Ireland, and running with Back on my Feet in Philadelphia. In her free time, MJ enjoys trying the best ice cream San Francisco has to offer, visiting her family in NJ, and playing soccer.
Sales Strategy, Salesforce | Co-Chair of the YPB
Kelsey works in the sales strategy group at Salesforce, where she advises sales leaders on how to go to market, while also partnering with other divisions to design and implement new initiatives. Prior to Salesforce, she worked as a management consultant in Chicago. Kelsey called Illinois home before being chased to the west coast by the midwest winters. Outside the office, Kelsey enjoys to participate in triathlons of all distances, and always has a "next race" she is training for. She is excited to share her passion and the power of running with Back on My Feet in San Francisco and is looking forward to being part of helping to get the SF chapter off the ground.

Emily grew up on the NJ coast, enjoying a mix of boardwalk runs and NJ’s famed Holmdel Park. She attended and ran at Villanova before (unknowingly) starting her slow move across the country. Stopping for a few years in Atlanta and Denver, she now calls San Francisco home and enjoys being back to seeing open water on a daily basis. She’s a big fan of chocolate, pandas, and planning surprise parties.
Linux System Administrator, Pacific Gas and Electric
Edgar is a rare San Francisco native. He attended and received his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Sacramento State. During the week, he supports Pacific Gas and Electric's IT infrastructure as a Linux Systems Administrator. When Edgar is not working, he would be found running around the City, volunteering within the community, or spending quality time outdoors with friends and family. He is passionate about giving back, and as a YPB member, he can contribute to the local community by helping individuals get back on their feet. Edgar started running while in college during its annual 5K Fun Run and has since completed the Chicago, San Francisco, and California International Marathons and a dozen half marathons.

Shannon grew up in Michigan and can show you exactly where on her hand. She started running as a freshman in college and hasn’t stopped since. She first started running with Back on My Feet when she moved to Philadelphia after graduation, These days, she leads projects for LinkedIn and spends her free time exploring the beautiful Bay Area trails, completing her MBA at night, and bringing people together over craft beer.

Anne is a Bay Area native, born and raised about 25 minutes East of San Francisco. She left the great state of California to attend the University of Pennsylvania - Wharton School. After 4 stellar years in the City of Brotherly Love, Anne couldn't resist returning to the West Coast (best coast) when she was offered a job at LinkedIn. Outside of the office, she loves exploring the new restaurants in town and *attempting* to recreate culinary masterpieces in her own kitchen. When the sun is shining and the fog has parted, you can find Anne getting lost in a book while lounging in her hammock in any of the many outdoor spaces in the Bay Area. She first heard about BoMF through her friends who ran with the group in Philly.
Growth & Marketing, Front Row Education
Michelle works in Growth & Marketing at Front Row Education, an EdTech start-up. Prior to that, she was at Bain & Company, where she first learned about Back on My Feet from a colleague. When she heard Back on My Feet was launching a San Francisco chapter, she was excited for a chance to get involved! Originally from Chicago and recently relocated from Boston, she'll miss the snow but is excited to experience her first winter being able to run outside.
To cap off a West Coast trip after college, Meredith ran the San Francisco Marathon, during which she realized she had to plan her move! Prior to living in the Bay, Meredith studied in Atlanta, where she indulged in her love of specialty coffee and craft cocktails as a barista and bartender while training for Boston. She currently employs her anthropology background consulting at the intersection of strategy and design. Outside of BoMF, Meredith can be most often be found rock climbing or exploring art exhibits throughout the city.
Global Process Manager, Google
Originally from Philadelphia, Gerard moved to SF for a new job in Finance at Google. Before arriving on the West Coast, he lived life on the road as a management consultant. An explorer at heart, he has a personal goal to hike all of the National Parks - and he’s making progress! While he certainly misses cheesesteaks and Eagles football, he’s loving the endless opportunities for adventure in the Bay Area. Gerard first heard about Back on my Feet through his sister, who ran with the group in Philly, and he’s excited to help the SF chapter grow and continues to be inspired by all those involved.

Michaela moved from Boston to San Francisco last year to help open the west coast office of the technology startup where she works. She played varsity soccer at the College of the Holy Cross and graduated in 2012. She was introduced to BoMF by her former teammate and friend who works as a Program Coordinator for BoMF Chicago and was very excited to get involved with the San Francisco launch. In her free time, Michaela loves to play pickup soccer, go to concerts, run marathons, paint, do yoga and hike.

Thea started running in college at UCLA and grew to appreciate the self empowering nature of running,impressing herself with the distances she could conquer through training. Upon moving to the Bay Area post graduation, Thea was troubled by the homelessness epidemic faced by San Francisco. Passionate about volunteering she looked for an opportunity to get involved and found the Back on My Feet! Thea works on operations processes and sales go-to market strategies for a start-up in the city called BinWise. In her free time she can be found running trails on the Peninsula, catching up on reading and helping restore a friend’s VW bus!

Michelle is very excited to join the San Francisco chapter of Back on My Feet. Soon after overhearing a BoMF member tell his story while running the Baltimore Marathon in 2010, Michelle started volunteering with the Washington DC chapter. Michelle moved to San Francisco in 2014 where she has continued her love for running (despite the hills!) and enjoying all the Bay Area has to offer.
Enterprise Accounts Manager, Lyft
Curtis lives and works in San Francisco, managing corporate transportation programs for the ride-hailing app Lyft. From a career that's covered multiple segments of transportation (Ford, Autotrader.com), Curtis is also involved in transportation policy and is a citizen advocate for better city design initiatives. Curtis became interested in BoMF after hearing about the program and seeing the potential it could have in SF.
Curtis grew up in Tyler, TX, a land rich in oil and Heisman trophy winners. He ran cross country and track in high school, and has enjoyed non-competitive running since (mostly halfs, one-and-done on marathons). He graduated from Texas A&M University, worked for a while in Memphis and Dallas, then moved to California in 2010 to join a small team trying to make hitchhiking mainstream. Like any SF transplant, Curtis enjoys hiking, and leads an annual Half Dome hike in Yosemite.

Program Execution Lead at AT&T
Jennifer Sandoval has been with AT&T Entertainment Group for the past six years and is a graduate of San Jose State with a degree in Communications and Spanish. Currently Jennifer is a Program Execution Lead supporting AT&T Retail locations across San Francisco and the North Bay Area. Jennifer also supported previously the Southern California market where she was introduced to Back on My Feet and participated in her first 5k challenge. She was inspired by the atmosphere during the race which has led to her passion to participate on the board of the SF BoMF chapter. Jennifer also enjoys spending time with her family, trying out new foods, and exploring different countries!
Manager of Product Sustainability, Levi Strauss & Co.
Liza Schillo is the Manager of Product Sustainability at Levi Strauss & Co. Here, she is focused on improving the product supply chain through more sustainable raw materials selection and reducing LS&Co.’s global carbon footprint. She holds an M.B.A. from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, an M.E.M. from the Duke University Nicholas School for the Environment, and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Originally from the east coast, Liza relocated to the Bay Area in 2014 where she became strongly interested in the issue of homelessness. She was thrilled to discover BOMF was establishing a new area chapter in 2016 and joined the Young Professionals Board in the fall of that year. Liza is a life-long runner, biker, hiker, and lover of all things outdoors. She enjoys being part of a team and coaching others to discover their best selves through running. Liza is absolutely thrilled to be a part of this community and to helping drive its growth and impact in the Bay Area.

Nick grew up in small town Southern Indiana and attended Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!). He was introduced to BoMF in Indianapolis in 2012 by his cousin who knew BoMF paired his passion for running with his commitment to community. Sunshine and opportunity lured him from Indiana to Southern California in 2014. Having spent 5 years in banking, he jumped into the exciting world of startups and San Francisco in 2016. At FastPay, he helps digital media businesses grow with creative financing solutions. In his free time, you can find him at a baseball game, touring a new city, or exploring a new hiking trail.
Amanda is a Northern California native who has lived all over the Bay Area , but now calls San Francisco home. She's completed four marathons all in California, and is always looking ahead to the next race. She's a CPA who has focused on nonprofits her entire career. When not running or working, Amanda spends her time writing, learning new languages, and exploring the city with her husband and two dogs. Her food weaknesses are coffee, Cheez-its and kale. She spent six years living in the DC area where she first learned about BoMF and ran her inaugural BoMF run while vacationing in NY.
Senior Supply Chain Specialist, Gilead Sciences
Taryn fell in love with Back on my Feet while running with a veteran's shelter in Baltimore. She grew up in the heart of Texas, graduated with a degree in Information & Operations Management from Texas A&M University, and now works for Gilead Sciences in San Mateo, where she lives with the love of her life, Patrick, and her four-legged baby, Ruby. Taryn spends most of her free time searching for delicious food and daydreaming about traveling. Her favorite thing about running is the community it brings. Taryn's dream race is the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C. and her favorite race is the Cowtown Marathon in Fort Worth, TX, which she ran in February 2013.
GTM Strategy and Operations at Salesforce
Tessa moved to San Francisco two years ago after spending several years in Philadelphia, where she was introduced to BoMF. Tessa first fell in love with the Bay Area when she spent time on a consulting project in the East Bay. She now works on a product go-to-market strategy team at Salesforce by day and teaches group fitness classes in her free time. Tessa is a Pennsylvanian country girl at heart, but she has come to appreciate city life and the fact that she never has to learn to cook thanks to food delivery apps!
